Your range of accommodation options include:

  • Spacious wooden chalets — with bunk beds for groups of varying sizes (maximum 200 persons) — provide shelter when you’re not outdoors enjoying the countryside.  Adjacent ablution facilities with hot water are serviced daily.  It is also ideal for guests who wish to stay overnight after your event or celebration.  Established for campers where the target audience is environmental education;  it is utilised frequently by Land Services and also Landcare which is supported by the provincial government.
  • For self-catering lodging your choice is between:

o   A three bedroom — all en-suite — guest house (sleeps 9) with indoor fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and even electric blankets for those chilly Karoo nights.

o   A rustic cottage without electricity (sleeps 4) if you prefer to enjoy the romance of candle-lit conversations and meals, or your mood takes you back in time to reflect in the light of flickering oil lamps.

  • Camping area for tents, caravans or camping trailers with nearby ablution facilities (hot water).  Groups can also camp outdoors in remote and safe areas where star-gazing is at its best (no additional facilities, suitable for one-night stays only).
